Can you guess what it is?! It’s shopping for summer clothes of course! I just spent almost the entire day trudging driving from one store to another, dragging my poor kid along for the very hot drive. First, let me just what happened to SPRING? We went from snow storms to 80 degrees in 2 weeks!!
Anyway, have you seen the crap they call clothes in the stores right now? I’m sorry but I didn’t look good in maternity clothes when I was pregnant! Why the heck would I want to wear them now? Stupid empire waists. They don’t even look good on the mannequins! Hello, anyone listening??
Really, it’s no wonder I’m stuck in a rut of t-shirts and jeans, and apparently I won’t be changing that anytime soon…blech.

Could you wear that lovely black and white print skirt you wore to my graduation party last May? The would be beautiful with a black tshirt (which I know you must have)!

In case anyone else is wondering - I have a wedding shower to go to on Sunday - one where I’d especially like to avoid looking preggers!

Hi Nicole, I had a fantastic time, thanks! The shower was for a cousin, and I rode down with another cousin, and saw many other cousins. I have a lot of cousins
Oh - and I’ve never seen a shower haul quite like that one - geez.
I finally decided on a blue/teal/black paisley floral skirt that hits mid calf (to hide my white white legs,) with, you guessed it, a black tshirt, and since it was a lovely kind of cool, I also wore a teal suit jacket. I’ve had the outfit a about 2 years and still love it.
I now have until the fourth of july to find an outfit for the wedding itself. I don’t think I’ll wait long to start looking - it might take forever to find something.
